      Hi….

I remember the first job I had to do as an apprentice – I was 17 and whilst working with another Maintenance Electrician I had to replace a sensor on a conveyor system.

It taught me about working with people to find out what was wrong with the conveyor, I had to work safely, I had to listen to instructions and clean up after I had finished….

      Thanks

      Hi!

My first paid work as an engineer was a summer job working as a software testing engineer! The company produced a complicated software that was used in hospitals, so it was kind of health related… I developed automated tests to make sure the software did what it was intended to. This helped me understand how a big company worked, and made me realise I definitely didn’t want to be stuck in software development 😉
