      Hi Jasmine,

      We use Samsung Galaxy smartphones. They have an inbuilt accelerometer and gyroscope (that measure motion, most phones have these now days), which we use to measure respiratory rate. This will hopefully allow us to get respiratory rate measurements from patients without there having to be a health professional there. At the moment respiratory rate is the only vital sign that isn’t measured by a standard medical device.
