      Hi!

Currently there is a lot of money being put into health technology, so I think biomedical engineering is only going to grow and grow. The biotech industry is thriving, as is bioinformatics (math models using genetic data). As we get access to more and more medical data (as computer technology improves), the potential for new discoveries is huge. Health concerns are relevant to everyone, so solutions to cancer, antibiotic resistance, improving drug delivery, functional MRI etc. are continuing to receive a lot of attention.

So I think the future for health engineers is growing and the potential for making a difference is huge. Join now 😉

I think the future of health engineering is going to keep growing and developing. From a healthcare perspective – we are on a trend towards personalised medicine and regenerative medicine coming our way. Without engineers, none of these styles of medicine will never become a reality. So it’s a very bright and challenging future.
