Good question…

The manufacturing facility is effectively the place of work for over 300 people who move about and operation a variety of machine and equipment using all sort of materials . The way it is made safe is to ensure operators are trained for what they do… Their activities are risk assessed, the equipment they use is safe ( there are any array of regulations which have to be met to comply) safety inspection take place on a weekly bases and operators look after their work areas to ensure they are clean and tidy…

Everyone on site is responsible for the safety of themselves and the people who work around them.. Which helps ensure that colleagues are watching it for each other.
