      DNA stands for Deoxyribonucleic acid. It is the molecule that carries the genetic information. It tells our cells what proteins to make which keep our bodies ticking over. 🙂

      Think Rebecca has pretty much answered the question – it stands for deoxyribonucleic acid. They are pretty clever molecules and are the reason your eyes and hair are the colour they are (amongst many other things!)
